I use Hawkins & Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model, Proctor’s Three-Function Model, and Stoltenberg and Delworth's Developmental Model in my supervision work.

The Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision

The Seven-Eyed Model, developed by Shohet and Hawkins, provides a comprehensive framework for supervision by examining the therapy process from seven distinct perspectives, fostering deeper reflection and skill development for supervisees. These "eyes" include:

(1) the client and their context,

(2) the therapist’s direct interventions,

(3) the therapeutic relationship,

(4) the therapist’s transference/countertransference,

(5) the here-and-now of the supervisory relationship,

(6) the supervisor’s own experiences and responses, and

(7) the wider systems and organisational context influencing the work.

This holistic approach encourages therapists to explore not just clinical techniques but also personal reactions, relational dynamics, and systemic factors, enhancing self-awareness and ethical practice.

My work also draws on my lived experience and a trauma-informed and ND affirming lens. My experience includes many years as a therapist working 1:1 and offering group work to neurodivergent people. Working in Counselling Education, CPCAB moderation (Levels 2–6), hospice bereavement leadership, and lecturing,  I provide integrative supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as other health professionals. I have done Masters level research in neurodiversity.

My approach is holistic and trauma informed

Supervision with me is both holistic and trauma-informed, grounded in Trauma Informed Principles,  prioritising safety, trust, and empowerment.

I provide supervision  in a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where supervisees can reflect openly on their work. My approach ensures supervision is paced thoughtfully, grounded in curiosity, and attentive to emotional safety and boundaries. I support supervisees to explore their clinical work with compassion and clarity, while also strengthening confidence, self-awareness, and ethical decision-making.

Practice Development

Supervision with me provides a reflective space where we can celebrate your progress, collaboratively troubleshoot, and openly discuss your work along with any issues or concerns you may have. It offers regular opportunities to reflect deeply on all aspects of ourselves as practitioners and our practice, ensuring we work as effectively, safely, and ethically as possible.

I have had the pleasure of supporting several of my supervisees to successfully achieve their BACP accreditation.

Fees are £60–£120 depending on requirements.
