I offer supervision for established counsellors and therapists, as well as trainees and other health professionals that may need support.
I believe supervision should be a collaborative working partnership, where you can discuss not only your day-to-day client work, but also your professional and personal and academic development, in a safe and restorative environment that keeps you thriving in your work.
Supervision with me offers a reflective space to celebrate your progress, collaboratively troubleshoot, and provide an open space to discuss your work and any issues or concerns you may have. I think supervision is an essential ingredient to maintain our well being, prevent burn out, and ensure good practice. It provides regular and ongoing opportunities to reflect in depth about all aspects of ourselves as practitioners and our practice in order to work as effectively, safely and as ethically as possible.
I have always valued the supervision that I have had as a practitioner. I know the benefits of regular, supportive supervision. I aspire to offer the high standard of professional supervision that I have been fortunate to receive in my own counselling career.
Several of my supervisees have successfully achieved their accreditation whilst working with me and it is a privilege to see supervisees grow and develop as practitioners and meet their professional goals. Accreditation isn't for everyone, and we all have different professional goals, but for those working with me that want to achieve their accreditation, it is a pleasure to help provide any support needed throughout this process. I am also happy to support experienced counsellors, as well as counsellors in training and newly qualified counsellors.
